1.1 Application:
The co2 methanation catalyst is mainly used for large, medium and small types of fertilizer plant synthesis ammonia industry, mainly in the synthesis gas of a small amount of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide under the action of the methanation catalyst and hydrogen reaction to produce water and inert methane, in order to protect the ammonia synthesis catalyst and prevent the system crystallization blockage. Use precautions of XYJ105 methanation catalyst:
● Temperature: Usually the initial use of the methanation catalyst performance is good, the inlet temperature can be adjusted in the operating temperature of 240 ~ 260℃, the bed temperature is maintained at 290 ~ 320℃, and the reaction temperature can be appropriately increased with the extension of the use time to ensure that the outlet is qualified.
● Prevent overtemperature: Methanation furnace overtemperature is mostly caused by the abnormal decarbonization system, a large number of CO2 into the methanation furnace caused by, if the synthesis of nitrogen is added before the methanation furnace, the oxygen content of nitrogen can exceed 0.05%, whether it is O2, CO, CO2 caused by temperature rise of more than 500℃, will cause different degrees of sintering inactivation of the methanation catalyst, the formation of nickel aluminate spinel, In particular, the overtemperature caused by O2 and the temperature gradient of the active center of the particles is larger, and the sintering damage at the same temperature is more serious. O2 exceeding the temperature faster, once found, immediately cut off the nitrogen source, to be analyzed after qualified, must be the gas in the pipeline after a period of time before it can be added to the furnace.
● Prevent low temperature gas conduction: When the gas temperature into the methanation furnace is below 200℃ or the bed heat storage temperature is below 200℃, the CO in the gas will form nickel carbonyl with the active component nickel in the methanation catalyst, the reaction formula is as follows:
Ni+4CO = Ni (CO)4 (gas)
This reaction is easiest to carry out at about 150℃, and the generated nickel carbonyl gas is lost with the migration of the air flow, and nickel carbonyl is extremely toxic to the human body.

Transportation and storage of methanation catalysts:
Methanation catalyst must prevent moisture absorption, handling to prevent collision, beating, careful handling in the transportation and storage process. If the old methanation catalyst is to be recycled and reused, it should be sifted in sections, sealed and packed, and properly kept. It can be carried out toxicology analysis, activity detection, strength detection, etc. The J105 methanation catalyst is packed in a plastic drum lined with plastic bags, with a net content of 40kg or 40 liters per barrel.
